Hi sevenwillow, , yes, this is my first serious one, with a previous planning and many continued hours of work. Lol, and it was a great surprise, I didn't spect such a good reaction about it when I finished the painting!! I'll bring some pics of the process if you want.
I made two figures more, one of them is still in the gallery of scraps, there you can see her, in othe scale, in other theme, very different. And too, I'll bring it here soon, I have a little fantasy animal, lol, drunk, I ,made so many time ago as a distraction, I think very simpathetic.

Glad you liked it!!!!

I would love to see the progress pictures...I am in awe that it was your first and in Magic Sculp which has a pretty quick set up time! You must sculpt pretty fast to have put so much detail into the clay and not have it set up on you....I love Magic Sculp but do not usually use it for faces.

Then you should try to mix it with green putty (Duro) in a 50%, that gives you time, makes more elastic the mixture and...great, great deatils in short scales.
Mmm, if you try alone the Magic one, and make the mix of both components, but you need time, you can conserv that mix at the refrigerator, that works quite well. That works also with the miniature if you want to change something while working.
I love Magic Sculp!! lol...

I'll bring you here the step by step, and I hope you enjoy it!!!!!

Muchas gracias!!!
I think I spent the same time in modelling the expresion of the eyes than in the rest of the figure, I thought that was very important. And the same process happened with the paintings, untill I didn't get the face as I wanted I couldn't go on...

cielo!!

the detail you can put into this with just clay alone is amazing! it's a shame that the sculpture section doesn't receive the attention it really needs. if it did, i'm sure this would easily be on the front page!
