This narwhal beast grew big! So I'm trying out some traditional art again after going digital only for so long. I just love how you use watercolor! I've always wanted to work with them myself, but other than some basic color-shifts, could never seem to get the hang of it. I can do big swatches of color, but not fine detail.

I can't exactly fathom why, but this illustration immediately reminded me of Hugo Pratt, which is cool...?
(I mean, I love H.P., so it IS cool, in my humble opinion, but you might disagree, or you might have made this with exactly his style in mind, which would be AWESOME, or you might have no idea what I'm saying. Well, neither do I. Sorry.)

great to see you do watercolours again! i followed you from a comic with a griffon and a furry guy both with metal parts i think, wayyyyyy back under the username shadowumbre probably like 12-14 years ago, it's been so long haha

It was really gorgeous! And A Redtailβs Dream really inspired me to get my own comic going, how you talked about the project helped me build actual foundations so it could be a long time project and not an impulse one... thanks for the journey, and for doing all these great comics and illustrations 
(Boy do I feel that βits been years of comic making but it feels like no time at allβ part of working on webcomics tho xβP)

The attention to detail amazes me. You can really see the facial expresion of the character and also, reflections on the floor. Great work, I see that you control watercolors very well. Is it a scene in a cave, maybe?Β
