ONLY SIX HOURS LEFT TO BID.This auction is an eeveelution themed set. The profits from this auction will go towards a flight to London so I can attend a convention there in the coming year. I need about $1200, so it's going to be a while! I really want to meet a lot more people, especially artists. So, thank you so much in advance for your consideration.
EDIT: To those who are confused by the premise of adoptables,
Basically, people are paying for the rights to the character design. Meaning, that after they have purchased the design, they can do what they like with it, not limited to commercial use for profit. I know some people have purchased my designs in the past in order to make future cosplays from them. Most people however just want to use the design in stories or future projects. Others, which I am flattered by, enjoy purchasing unique designs from artists they like as a show of support. c: If you do not agree with this, it's fine. But, this is not the place to knock it. I feel that it is extremely insensitive and I would prefer if you took the conversation elsewhere.
This auction will close on APRIL 20TH, 2014 at 9:30 PM EST (GMT -5). The highest bidder at that time will be contacted by note and asked to pay their bid. I will give you 24 hours to pay your bid. If you do not pay your bid the next highest bidder will be treated in the same fashion.
If you wish to auto-buy you must have the funds right away. There will be no time extension to pay.
You may only pay in CAD. If you do not know how to convert your cash, it can be done using paypal. Just ask me and I will walk you through it. On dA, you may also bid in dA points. Each 100 points is equal to $1.00 CAD. (Example: $10.00 CAD = 1000 POINTS)
Bid increment: $1.00 CAD. The bidding starts at $20.00 CAD.

None of them are really moderate,
but I'd say Eevee and Vaporeon are 'low' complex designs.
So, you'd get a little less detail than they have in a moderate design c:

I've seen many pople put their drawings up for auction as a one of a kind thing and it seems rather useless. Don't get me wrong they are great drawings and designs but why pay money for it?.
I'm going to be hoest, I could easily save that picture, photoshop the watermarks out and call it my own, it's a very simple procedure to do with the clone stamp and a few brush marks here and there. I wont though as I'm not that mean.
Now if you was to make them into physical iron on fabric patches that people can put on their bags/clothes then I can understand it and I encourage you to do such a thing.
But I don't understand all these "Adopt my creation" thing.

I think it's fine not to understand or want to buy into it. It's not for everyone, but, as long as I enjoy designing and people enjoy my designs, I'll keep doing it c: I'm flattered when anyone likes my design enough to purchase it. I don't think it's right to tell anyone what they want to purchase isn't valid, either. Even if I didn't understand it, ha ha. Some people don't have the same design aesthetic as others, or, they can't articulate what they want into a cohesive design. But, those who can and offer this service are available for them c: These premade designs are just one way for me to work out my own creativity, and a way to pay my bills with the funds raised by people who enjoy the designs.
As for the watermark. I do what I can to protect my work. That's all I can do, if I want to display it. I hope that people realize that theft is wrong and the fact that I rely on my sales to live, is enough to make them think about not stealing. However, due to the popularity of my designs, it's easy to spot theft and the majority of the time a theft is reported to me by my kind friends and followers in a matter of minutes after it's been posted. The same is true of all art work. I hope that people have better things to do than spend hours editing my work to sell it, when they could be making their own work c:
I would appreciate it, however, if you didn't state how to make it possible for watermarks to be removed. People who do not know, and even those who do, have no business knowing how to proceed with something like that.
If I considered this a viable source of income or a readily available path for me to follow, I would. However, I am just not interested in it at this moment. Thank you for the suggestion though.
It's okay not to understand or buy into this, and I totally agree that while people could rip me off, a lot of them aren't that mean c: and those who are probably won't get away with it for long, aha. Thanks for your comment!

eh, well the way I see it, a lot of people can't draw, or they feel like they draw badly, or even that there are people who aren't really creative or have the ability to design well. Of course that's all perspective, but all in all, they want to buy an adopt to call theirs because they themselves need/want a their own character. And of course there are different reasons too.
I liked buying adopts because they're creative and cute, and I get to call it mine. I draw the adopts I buy all the time.

Since I buy a lot of adoptables, I'll answer this question:
The hardest part, for me, about creating a new OC to roleplay is figuring out their physical appearance. Adoptables are a way to get a design that is even better than you can imagine and put that design into your stories.
As for the whole: Could remove the watermark bit, that makes any artist uneasy and paints a target on your back as someone to watch for art theft.
Putting them into patches or something like that takes funds and money and time that not everyone has.

Stupid question I'm sure, But whats is the point of adopting a drawing? I'm not down talking it in any way, just curious, is it just the design that they are buying, then able to use in there story/drawing as their own character?
