These two are basically one of my favourite pairings, even more so that it's canon. It's a big deal to have that kind of representation in media. The song has always reminded me of Haruka and Michiru. It must have been difficult to go to sleep at night thinking that they might not see each other again if a fight went badly or even if an every day accident occurred. Then there was the trauma associated with what their task was - especially with the self sacrifice it involved. Print of this WILL be available at Otakuthon.
