Greetings from

I don't often comment of photography, but he's so cute I couldn't help it.

Your subject is interesting for someone like me, who was born and raised in a city. I've only seen pigs in petting farms. But they are fascinating animal. The landscape you have here is stunning! All the green and endless mountains make a nice contrast to the red/brown of the foreground.

My constructive comment here would be on the focus. I almost feel that there is too many subjects, and your attention has been split.

Based on the title and description, I assume your main focus is the pig, and next up would be the displaced ducks. I think you may want to focus more on that relationship, and let the view/shed come in the picture if they fit. Granted these are animals, so I'm sure it's not easy to keep them in place, etc. but if possible, I'd get closer and behind the pig, so I can show ducks looking at him in protest more prominently. Right now, each subject is relatively small, and has the similar importance in the photo. I'd showcase the pig much much more, balanced by the upset ducks facing him.

If you sat behind the pig, he and the foreground (water and maybe the edge of the pond) would be in the light, while ducks and trees behind them would be in the shadow, hopefully creating a stronger contrast in the value, size, and subjects.

Another approach that might be cool is to snap a photo also from behind the pig, but get that amazing background landscape, so it looks like it's a travel photo of someone in an infinity pool. But it's the local pig. That'd be cute.

Anyway, please take this with a grain of salt as I'm fully trained in painting but nowhere as much in photography. I look forward to seeing more of South Africa
