Velvet's chocker is a mystery to everyone, including the supernatural expect herself. All people know about it is how it is the reason for Velvet to change her soul's personality. Theories have sprouted about across the web, with the general idea being that it's possessed by at least three murder victims who are reaching out to the real world by merely taking over Velvet's body and soul, but never her mind. Why her mind is not included but her body and soul is becaue of another theory that if they could take over Velvet's mind then they could be able confess on who murdered them and finally be brought to justice (that is if their murderer is still alive, or if this theory is actually confirmed). Also, it is currently unknown on how Velvet got her hands on it, as she refused to say where exactly she got it from beyond "an small cottage in the wilderness".
