Jolleraptor October Contest

Once the sun settled and stars started to twinkle, Night Trap started his trick-or-treat adventure. He's been walking along the sidewalk, waiting for candy that rowdy children have dropped when they recklessly swing their bucket pals. After an infinity (or rather five minutes in reality), Night Trap was only able to find one piece of candy. He was walking back home when behind a Jack-o-lantern he found a pirate duo and their treasure trove of candy. Thinking with his stomach, Night Trap dives into the pile of candy and runs off with a mouth stuffed with candy. Upset, Orion chases Night Trap. Running past a "BOO" sign, Night Trap quickly hides behind the second "O". He peeks his head out and watches Orion run in the opposite direction. Distracted by the increase in his size of candy stash, River watches the giddy Night Trap. In on fell swoop, River leaps off the "O" sign and lands right on Night Trap back. The shock and pain forces Night Trap to spit out all the candy he stole from the pirates. Shock (who literally came out of nowhere...) and River grabbed the fallen candy and ran off before Night Trap could even stand on his two legs. All Night Trap could do was shed tears to express his distress. However, beyond the sounds of his crying, Night Trap heard tiny footsteps. He turns his head and sees another Jolleraptor chewing a sour green apple candy. With the sight of that delicious candy, Night Trap found a new candy target.
