This is fantastic.
The Rise of Apocalypse four-parter is a constant re-read for me when it comes to comics. One of my all-time favorites.

No he wasn't. He actually had boots. I think I mentioned it in the description, but it's long.
I used the feet from this McFarlane figure. It was this Soldier of Ra, which is where all the Egyptian garb came from. I cut his feet off mid-shin, dremmeled them down to the shape of pegs, painted them to match Lashley's skin tone, and shoved them up into his legs.
Then I just put apoxie over the boot straps, painted it gold and that was that.
