I originally made it for the contest but I missed the chance to participate because I have a weird set of mind, I thought I have a whole month for it!🤦🏻
so, here we are--

Art description:
Mandala Art is symmetrical form of art where set of patterns are repeated in circular form which is obviously you can see here. The unsymmetrical string in between the symmetrical patterns is to represent the artistic freedom and boldness to create something out of the definition. It also gives the message of self expression, to go beyond the set of rules, to do things your way~ even though it makes a little difference but difference was made.
※ The Butterfly is the representation of Passion. (for that I made sure to use red to convey my message) It is also "CORE THEME" of my artwork. Butterflies are often used as an example of someone who very sociable but here the message it opposite.The way butterflies don't sit at one place for long enough gives the message of unbelongingness but at the same time It represents a passion which can give you the scene of belonging in the world which doesn't feel as your place~ as a person who always have hard time coordinating with society and always have a feeling of disconnection but I find my passion in art. Art is the place where I can actually feel at ease and I find the real meaning of life. I wanted to express this through my artwork.
