Description
Been meaning to write his entrance into GG and the pallet prompt was a nice excuse to do so.

The Silence of the Void, unending and completely consuming. That was what had engulfed the shadow cast by the young sun. Familiar, and yet, somehow different than that which had spawned IT.  Then, all at once, that emptiness collapsed in on itself as a writhing mass of blackness and the world came crashing in, rushing to fill the newly formed senses of a creature who should not be. Its icy eyes shot open, head pounding and breath shaky.

IT waited. Grass brushed its form, gentle wind tugging at navy and gold fur, soft sounds of the world around it seemingly ignorant of its arrival. But most importantly, it quickly realized, IT was ALONE. A crooked grin creased its muzzle, freely moving one arm to touch its face while pushing itself up with the other. Was it really… alone? Finally free? It thought sneering as it inspected its form, pleased and curious when no response was heard. It searched its mind, there was no one else there, no angry frustrated voice cursing and trying to regain control. This time, finally, IT was in control and this body was theirs.

“Well, isn’t this is a nice surprise” it chuckled, long ears twitching as it took in the area around it. “hm. This doesn’t appear to be that world.” They stood up, balancing comfortably as they scanned the unfamiliar forest. “Unfortunate, but not a problem, now that I am in control those fools will finally perish at my claws.” It flicked a wrist and waited expectantly for a long moment, nothing happening. They narrowed their eyes, and tried again, still nothing. “…you are kidding me.” They repeated this a few times, before switching to clutching their fist. This too seemed to do nothing. “Where is my power!?” it hissed, looked frustratedly at its claws, trying desperately to summon some form of magic. A ball of shadows, a spark of electricity, even a small flicker of a flame. Nothing.

“Waste, what a waste! Is this a joke?” It snarled, lashing out at the nearest tree. How could it have gained this form, yet lost its power? What did that RAT do? They growled. Yes, it was him, it had to have been. That worthless demigod, he must have tainted this body somehow with his oh so lovely light.

They recalled what had happened before their arrival here. IT had been harassing that boy, at the time nothing more than an angry shadow lurking in his mind and waiting to seize control. Kept at bay only by the embodiment of his power, the Sol, that burned away Corruption as it quietly circled him. It had been their normal routine and had been for years now. The ignorant rat had learned to ignore IT, and continue to develop his own power, but that day had been different. With glee it had managed to strike a nerve in the boy, and they lashed back with anger expectedly, the demigod and demon trading insults and threats.

And it was then that the boy made a mistake with one of his budding powers, or at least it seemed that way. As he tore open a rift between worlds, in his distracted state and anger something had gone wrong. It recalled how the rift seemed to shimmer and twist unusually as they argued, with what could only be described as black tendrils appearing along its edges before everything changed. Within a split second, as the demigod passed through, something grabbed hold and then nothing. He clearly had done something to that rift, whether by choice to screw with IT or out of shear ineptness at wielding such a power.

It could deal with this. With a huff, the demon now folk regained its composure and fixed its messy tuff of hair. There would be time for revenge and suffering on both that demigod and his loved ones, for now it would take advantage of this freedom. A hovering black orb caught their attention as it slowly circled them, followed closely by a second. The wretched Sol perhaps? No, something was off about it and this second one seemed strange. Whatever was happening here, they would find a means to regain their lost power and return to that other world. As a creature of the void, they did not fear time or death, it was only inevitable that they would achieve their goal. And any who tried to stop them, would swiftly meet their end.
