Description
A collab pic with:After Christine posted her inked lineart of Total Colosseum (found here: www.deviantart.com/deviation/2… ), the first thing I thought was that it looked clean enough to be in a coloring book. ^^ And that sparked the idea for me to try my hand at coloring it myself! So I asked Christine if I might be allowed to try coloring her lineart for her... in colored pencil! She agreed, and here is the end result. ^_^
I really like how this turned out. It wasn't particularly hard to color, just very time-consuming, as I had to figure out the colors for all the characters! ^^ I basically downloaded the picture, then printed it off on one sheet of paper, as big as it would allow me to. Then, I got my colored pencils and all my reference material... and went to work! ^^ Took about a week or two to complete, coloring a couple characters a day, but I finally finished and scanned it in for all to see.

If you critique, please critique on the coloring only, as the sketch and inking are not my work. The only problem I see in the picture is the pink on Meganium's flower... it's bright as can be in the original, but my scanner apparently couldn't pick up any of the color. So... ya.

Impresive. Very, very impressive. I must credit the orignal line art, but the coloring is truly inspirational. I will certianly add this work to my favorites. Now, then, the most noticable flaw is the maganium, who is, as you already pointed out, miscolered due to the scanne. Now, Rui's and Ho-ho's positions and poses loke somewhat akward, but it quite alright. The inclusion of so many recognisable characters is truly awe-inspiring, but the next nost noticable flaw is in Nascaour, who, even in this chibish view should retain so musle mass, as should Dakamean, or whatever his name was, with the red hair. Also, the smaller dools of our heros look out of place, and he mention of smaller characters is whar one would call cute. Miror B! One of my favorite chacters of all time, but on a serious note on your story, you and I both know now that Evice nor Naxcour are the head of Chipher, but a small man on an island of Gateon port, and you know who! Also, perhaps a story expliaining Miror B's fall to common cirminal into the world of XD would be interesting. Since XD pretty much would destroy any true ending to your colloseum story, I hope a transition is made, from one into the other, to explain a lot of things. Still, great work, and the eyes where the most amazing part. Also, dare I ask, what is that strange spot next to Furrret?

Well, as to the actual composition of the picture itself, I have absolutely nothing to do with that... Your praises for anything other then the coloring should be directed towards ~sweethart772002 . Also note, her art style has always been a chibi-like one (though that's not what she would call it!), and I personally think it is very cute. A cute version of Colosseum. Hehe. ^_^ But thank you very much anyway. I'm especially glad you like my coloring. ^^
Well, as to my story, the events of Pokemon XD are not even going to happen. The characters of Pokemon XD will make their appearances in the sequel to my Pokemon Colosseum fanfic, but what I plan to happen will be vastly different from the game. So don't expect a novelization of Pokemon XD from me; it's not going to happen. But you can expect something just as exciting. ^_^
And that spot next to Furret? It's a cotton puff. ^^ Perhaps from the attack Cotton Spore? Just a cute little thing there.
