I was going to do commissions.I spent the whole day on this. I just wanted to try and draw something a bit more detailed than usual. So have a lovely Tobi!

I absolutely love all the texture work on this! The lighting behind him is just wonderfully done as well with all the subtle backlighting down his legs and then the BOOM!SUN right in the centre! It kind of feels like I'm squinting to look at his majesty even though.. I'm actually not!
His fur as I said, is wonderfully done and I really love his shoulder green marking there, it looks so aboriginal and I really like it/ Also you do the BEST muzzles ever and of course his demon eyes always makes him look super awesome.
My only criticism would be that the background could be slightly better! It seems a shame to have this GORGEOUS piece of art, and then to skimp on the clouds a bit. Maybe revisit this? Make those clouds look AMAZING like the rest of this, and this would be SO perfect!

I totally get what you mean about the background. Even I openly admit it's half assed. I'm still trying to get used to SAI with backgrounds and such cos I have less tools than when I used PS. JUST HOPING I CAN IMPROVE SO I CAN GO BACK AND REVISIT A HELL OF A LOT OF IMAGES. This included.
But omg. Muzzles are always great fun to draw <3 So I'm glad you like the way I draw them!
