Description i love working with bones, and this was my first real pop at using them in sculpture.
its not my most favourite piece, but i think it looks quite good in this photo...
the skull is some kind of strange fish skull, that was washed up on the beach, and most of the little vertebra are from a cat skeleton i dug up while digging a pond.
as for the artificial hip joint, its amazing what you can find in a crematorium dump...

This is fantastic. Also, excellent photography--that's crucial when one isn't able to view the piece in person, if that makes sense.

I love that fish skull, and the artificial hip joint. So very inventive. Nice work!

Your bones got a little machine/
You're the bone machine!

Looks neat, the head looks just a tad like a dinosaur's...and yeah, pretty good photo too. Did you work at the crematorium or something, or did you go there just to find parts for sculpting?

i just like to sneek around the back of crematoriums. found a carrier bag full of fillings and internal screws once. but the bag of hip joints was a good find!
