Vision: Very clear and direct with the title.
Originality: Four leaf clovers are not really original but they are hard to find in real life. The design of the stem though is original. Normally I've not seen a stem like this one that is very elegantly done.
Technique: The coloring is very lovely done. The shading is nice and adds delicate folds and curves to the clover, giving nice detail on the petals. The stem is also nicely shaded giving it shape and form as well as showing the curves up and down and twist of the stem. The way the water droplets were done I love. They look so delicate and true to what I've seen on morning plants or plants after a nice rain. Gorgeous.
The reflection and shadow on the water adds to its depth and their placement looks very soft and gentle, like they are just barely there and could slide right off. The added one droplet falling onto the stem and the other on the edge starting to fall is a nice touch. I can't really think of anything to suggest for improvement on this work as, in my opinion, it's beautiful and very well done as is.
Impact: It's beautiful to look at and makes me think of early wet mornings out in the country and of rainy days, after it's stopped raining then going out and looking closely to see how soft the water droplets rest on the plants. Beautiful.
Overall: Excellent. It has beautiful detail and has a realistic feel to me anyways. The water looks very soft and realistically placed with the aid of the shading and reflecting of light. The shading on the petals and stem gives depth to it and adds shape to its five parts. I can't think of anything to suggest to improve this piece as in my opinion it's perfect as it is. The balance is there and well done. Wonderful work.
