Description
It rained today, so I wanted to use wet pavement to get some light reflections.Taken in Gdańsk, Poland.
I've visited three photography shops and got myself a roll of decent film. Wanted the Portra 400, bought Ultramax 400. It was bloody expensive (30 PLN, I could get 3 rolls of ColorPlus 200 for this much, it's nearly $7.50). Can't wait to try it out though.

I don't think I've seen something of Gdask before, but this picture makes me want to visit it.

This makes me think of the 1950s. Very moody atmosphere. It's nice but it's also a tad hard to see the buildings. It does emphasize their silhouette's though, which is great for the city hall. Very crisp and sharp too.

I like my photos contrasty.
Perhaps, a little bit too contrasty sometimes.
And that seems to be the case here.

Napisałem kiedyś, że jestem bardzo niekreatywny w kwestii dziękowania ludziom. Cieszę się niesamowicie, że moje zdjęcie zostało docenione, a nie umiem tego ładnie ubrać w słowa i wykorzystać innego zwrotu niż "dziękuję" do wyrażenia wdzięczności.

Then, I must say that I really like this photograph!
I like the perspective, the choice of using BW and the sharpness. The only thing that I could tell you is that, if could have been nice to enhance the contrast a little bit more to see a bit more the details of the photograph (the exposure, highlights, shadows, vibrance...)
Also, (and this is really my personal opinion), maybe add a very slight black vignette to focus more on the center of the photograph and kind of give it this vintage/gloomy kind of feeling to it

I do agree, that I should've exposed the details in a better way.
However, when I was developing RAW file, I noticed vignetting, which is not too strong indeed, but I didn't want to enhance it, either, because it could have made the image even darker overally.

Jutro wyjeżdżam z powrotem do Warszawy.
Dobra strona: zedytuję zdjęcia na normalnym monitorze i przejadę się znowu Pendolino.
Zła strona: nie chce mi się stąd wyjeżdżać.;_;
