For me, still life photography works or it doesn't, there is little to no gray area.

The angle from which you've taken the photo is one that I would never would have considered, yet it seems perfect. The chair's placement seems to fill the composition of the photograph without blocking or distracting the viewer.

I'm a bit distracted by the intensity of the light as it shines on certain objects, but at the same time, it illuminates the rest of the room graciously, even beneath the desk.
