Behold the remains of purple man. The first human you actually see in game is ironically the one who started it all. And funny how he is also dead in a suit like he made the kids. It finally came full circle on the monster. So Springtrap is the first truly 'evil' animatronic. Since he is possessed by the true evil. Meaning it's destruction is funny enough not only the end of the final exoskeleton but the end of the Purple man as well.Β

Don't you think that's a bit of a paradox? I mean the event of the purple man's death MUST have occured before FNAF1, after Purple man's death the children rest in peace, but then the animatronics in FNAF1 attempt to kill you as if they're possessed then *Head explodes from illogicalness* Β

Actually, Spring Trap is not stuffing Purple Guy into himself. In the minigame, Purple Guy put on that suit without knowing that the endoskeleton was still inside. So he got crushed to death and the wiring infused themselves on him. It kinda looks like that Spring Trap/Purple Guy is trying to free himself from the suit but is failing miserably. Serves him f**king right!

Well actually he knew the skeleton was in there, because they were able to transform from animatronic to costume. However the safety locks on the springs came loose, and transformed back into animatronic mode while he was still inside the suitΒ

I do have some guesses on this. You are right about purple guy climbing into it but I wonder if purple guy was actually the new phone guy. Notice how night one, nothing happens at all? This is because Springtrap is inside the closed off room & when new phone guy opened it up, he found the old recordings. My guess is, he was able to leave us a message before it happened but he was probably listening to the recordings, curious about the suit in there if it was one of those mentioned. Just like that, he was attacked by the spirits of the dead children. It makes sense they would attack him if he was the one who dismantled them for the horror house of which the mini game could indicate. To flee from them, he climbs into the suit but with all the safety rules on wearing it, of course the springs came undone, killing him & trapping inside. Springtrap.
He doesn't speak to us night 3+ but that leaves the question, who plays the old recordings for us? My assumption is, he's doing it after listening to the rest himself, realizing that he should have listened all the way through to know the suit wasn't safe & he figured maybe playing them for us would tell us that he's actually the one animatronic causing trouble. Notice how when we die, there isn't really much of a death animation? Just Springtrap coming up to us then we are put back to the menu page which is a bit different from the other games.
All of that was just theory, I've been thinking about this ever since I saw the ending to night 5. Don't really take truth to what I say. I could be horribly wrong but really, I'm not all too sure. It could be correct.

Technically, the children attacked him because he killed them. When he dismantled the animatronics, he basically release their souls. Of course when they saw him, they recognized him as their killer so they chased after him until they cornered him in a room. The same room where Spring Trap is. To avoid being attacked by the souls, he hid himself in the suit, not knowing that the endoskeleton and the mechanics were still there. That's what killed him in the end, the endoskeleton and the mechanics crushed him, leaving his remains inside the suits to rot over the years. While the children meet up the original child's soul (the marionette) to celebrate one last party together before they ascend to the afterlife, leaving Purple Guy trapped in the suit like them.

See, I was thinking it was that but it almost seems too straightforward. I remember thinking things from the past that were heavily implied were true when they weren't & watching all of these videos with different theories has me thinking about other possibilities. Given a lot of those videos can easily be laughed at but at the same time, it's nice looking at all angles. I might have been over thinking it a bit, it could be the obvious & Scott was just hoping that people would poke at other possibilities to give him some entertainment. If what was made obvious (for anyone who has seen all the mini games played) is the answer, then I'm cool with it but I still like hearing all the different fan theories too.

I know. At first when I saw Spring Trap (back then I referred to him as Golden Bonnie) I thought that it was the Phone Guy who got killed in the first game. But when I saw the ending for FNAF3 my mind was blown! I didn't even think that it would be the Purple Guy! Well at least the children's souls got their revenge at the end.

Even then, there's a bit of an old theory on Purple Guy being Phone Guy & I thought about this. If that is true & Phone Guy was the true culprit all along, it makes a lot of sense. If us playing as the crying child in that mini game, killing Purple Guy is actually what happened on night 4 of the first game & would explain the true nature behind the animatronics. They weren't trying to stuff us into a suit because they saw that we were an animatronic without the outer layer but more of we were the enemy. They want to move on but they must kill the one that killed them & with us in his position, we could be mistaken for him. More confusion must have arose after night 4 when he was dead. I still haven't thought more on why they are still active night 4 but it does explain a lot to the first game if you think of it that way.
With so many alternate theories I was going off of who the true Springtrap was & everything, this so far is my favorite because it makes the most sense.

Technically no cause he died in the suit and that thing in the Spring Trap was his remains. However, his soul possessed the suit just like the kids. Well thanks to that my theory of the new animatronic being phone guy is thrown out the window. Β

actually it doesnt really throw your theory out the window. the mini games take place in the same building as FNAF 1, where phone guy died, so it is plausible, coupled together with evidence from FNAF 2, that Purple guy IS phone guy.
in FNAF 1 on his second last call you hear the animatronics going after phone guy, in the FNAF 3 mini games the animatronics are going after purple guy, who takes them apart. since they dont get cleaned up we can assume all these mini games happen in the same night.
Additionally in one of the recordings in FNAF 3 phone guy mentions that there are secret rooms not mentioned on any maps, in a later night he says the rooms are going to be boarded up for various reasons. So we can also assume that purple man dies in one of these back rooms, shortly before it was boarded up, and when it was boarded up no one bothered to check what was in them.
Another peice of evidence is the final gurgling phone call in FNAF 1, that sounds like an animatronic or choking person. If we assume that Phone guy is the Purple man then this makes perfect sence. Purple man hides in the Springtrap suit and it malfunctions fataly injuring him, the rooms get boarded up, and Purple man makes one final call for help that comes out as a creepy monstrous gurgle before he dies
Murderer = Purple Man
Purple Man = Phone Guy
Phone Guy = Spring Trap

I don't have the game. But I did watched the gameplay on YouTube. I can already guess that the good ending is the attraction was burn in a fire due to faulty wiring and anything that survived is auctioned off. I'm hoping that Scott makes a 4th FNAF game because I love the gameplay videos. Especially when gamer youtubers like Markiplier get the s**t scared out of them.

The good ending and bad ending are exactly the same, the only difference is that the 'bad end' Β and 'end' screen the animatronic heads have glowing eyes in the bad end and dont in the "good" end

We know its the Purple guy because after you complete night 5 you play as a child ect... and you see Purple guy get into the Springtrap suit and die because of the Cogs and endo skeleton and that is only the bad ending
