Ahah... A new Oekaki deviation...with light and stuff. More free- and light-looking Kasumi. YAY!
YES, I did mean "rain" and not "ray" in the title. xD I just wanted an Oekaki of more happy, sunny-ness. x33 I tried something different with halftones. O=
Also, even though it's the middle of winter, it doesn't feel like it. It's been somewhere around 50° in temperature where I live; usually I'm freezing my butt off in weather that reaches almost 0°... And I am using Fahrenheit 'cause that's how I was raised. XD So that explains why she's in Spring-esque dress.
Made at Bulbagarden Oekaki again. But the Retouch is crazy as hell. O_o

Ha, thanks, I think this is the only Oekaki from years back that I sort of still find passable (even though anatomy and facial errors are apparent in this). I think it was the only time I did halftone shading; I liked the outcome but I remember having a hard time trying it at first.

It sure has a free and light feeling to it. Kasumi's hair and eyes are really nicely done, so is her clothe.

I guess for us Californian's we are used to intense heat... a lot. This of course happens sometimes at even the weirdest of moments-- thereby causing that stimulus to reject summer as being the primary, favorite fun time 
I suppose you are also right about the cold part as well, I don't really like cold... for too long too [right now I may sound greedy but bear with me xD] but since... in my area we don't usually get snow or many people who are overtly excited about this month, I tend to wish more on that month, and there goes my imagination~ making me really love this season/break the most of all.
~gah, I'm off with one of my rants again, but you know what I mean right

I'm in one of those temperate zones, so I get hit with all kinds of weather. I guess I get annoyed with winter because...I spend more time inside and it gets cold and most of the time, heat doesn't last where I live. Maybe I have that winter depression mental illness, except I get annoyed instead of sad.
It's okay, I understand now. XD And I like reading rants. I dunno, but it's fun for me to read others' petpeeves. I'm not even sure why, but it's fun.
