I made this as a background for my blog on Tumblr. I figured I'd at least share it in case anyone wanted to use it as a desktop or something.

This is a result of several variations... First just of Lady Loki, then with the addition of the standing movie-Loki behind her (he is four separate layers on his own, with different blending modes and levels of opacity to create a specific look.) I finally added a screenshot from the Avengers trailer, using just the "luminosity" blend mode. Tried it at two different sizes, liked both, and went with it. Had one little bit of space left next to Lady Loki and added a screenshot of "Hiddles" [Tom Hiddleston] himself. Used the same "luminosity" blend mode.

The vague, texturing backdrop behind all the figures is an edit of an edit.... Several months ago I put together a "wormhole" background for another blog, wanting something of my own creation rather than ripping off any particular wormhole drawing or CGI. I brought my old wormhole edit into Photoshop and began tweaking with different filters, blending modes, color balances, and such until I finally had a green background I liked.
