...some girl i painted last night..for fun
turned out, it's no fun..took my 3 damn hours
still trying to improved my anatomy gyaan..

It's very well done! The skin and specially the clothes is perfectly done! The hair is also awesome! Although I had a suggestion it would have been great if the hand which is lifted up is to be placed on the cat as if petting him!

Specifically her thumb is placed too far into her palm, and her right foot is generally incorrect.

Jus a question (cos I suck at digital colouring):
How do you select colours for your skin-tone? Mine always come out looking so flat

oh it's a trick. i fill it with a skin tone color of value #e3a28e or something similar to that in the orange-red area. then i make a multiply layer on top of this and paint the shadows with the same color, using a low opacity airbrush.after the shadows done, i'll make a couple of layers on top in overlay or lighten mode, and pick a lighter shade of the same color to add highlights [..usually, same brush ]. after this, things may look a lot 'skin-ish
