Had to go stalk you a little bit, and my my, look at that! Your style is lovely! I really like how light and soft this one looks - the royal weapon casts such a stark contrast to the bright Lady Lunafreya, making it look impossibly heavy (which it must be considering what it´s made of - the metal replica weighs around 9.5 kg, which is really not that easy to swing around if you try for a bit) - just like her task overshadowed her life to the point of completely giving it up.

a;lskdfjgh You are way too kind! T.T Thank you so much for commenting!
Colors have always been a pain for me, especially when doing metal. I knew I had made the trident darker than intended, but I think, at the time, I was on the verge of chopping my hand off if I didn't get it finished (it's what I get for having not drawn anything in years, ''OTL ). Your comment makes me think there could be a reason for it though, since that's exactly what I feel makes Luna an interesting character. I wish we could have spent more time with her.
(Holy crap, is it really that heavy? o_o Luna! You're friggin' Wonder Woman! I say that as someone that struggles to lift 10lbs/4.5kg, pfft)

XDDD Know that feel of wanting to chop the hand off because all things considered, after drawing for hours on end, that thing hurts either way XDDDDD Especially if you draw the first time after a reaaal long break. Really sucks >.< Kudos tho that you managed to create a piece like this even after such a long break!
And well, I can´t be too sure about the actual weight of the original thing, only about the replica I have here, but since all the weapons of the armiger look like some sort of steel at least, it can´t be too far off - safe for the possibility of Solheim having developed extremely light-weight metal back in the day, which I doubt tho - one particularily well-done aspect of the game is that when you play a character, you can practically feel their weight, the force with which they hit an enemy or object - especially in the DLC it became apparent, Gladio´s movements with that big-ass sword are entirely different than Noct´s, who has trouble lifting it at all without cheating, but even Gladio is staggering sometimes, struggling to keep his balance. And as for Luna, she only ever lifts the trident one time, when leviathan prepares to attack her - otherwise she´s kinda of just holding it, and can barely turn it upright at the end to summon the power Noctis needs to defeat the angry pool noodle. So, yes, if that thing indeed weighs as much as a trident made out of metal that size should, she basically gave it all her power to lift it - or, as it was hinted, tenebraeian heritage makes you a bit stronger, since the guys were talking about Ravus being physically stronger than normal due to his heritage earlier. OR Luna was secretly into weigh-lifting and could´ve lifted Noct just as easily as Gladio if he´d just ever gotten closer than 5 m near her SE thank you very much) Guess we´ll never know. SE gives a sh*t about explaining the lore of this universe properly, so this´ll just be another thing left in the dark for the fandom to speculate about.
I mean, Yuna´s staff was wayyy heavier, it was the first Final Fantasy-weapon we made out of metal here, and man, that thing weighs more than 12 Kg. Like, that really IS a weapon - it makes sense now that Yuna would use it to smack her enemys, one proper whack and anything goes down. Was kind of dangerous to carry that thing around >.<

Gosh, I know. I struggled with playing as Gladio - both because he has a different play-style, and because I never use large weapons - but I will give them credit for incorporating those details into the game. Though it's still bloody ridiculous (and so hilariously fun) that he can rip chunks of rock out of the earth and swing them around like he's Hercules or something...
I will just be on the boat with everyone else that suggests that the Tenebraean royal lineage just makes them stronger than your average citizen. That seems to be the case within most fantasy worlds, anyway, and makes the most sense to me (though the image of Luna doing weights is amazing, and can you imagine the look on Gladio's face if he walked into a gym one day and saw Tenebrae's princess doing presses or something? I mean, I guess after questioning how she got there in the first place. XD).
Holy tomatoes! Yeah, screw using magic, just give the bad guys a good whap across the face, it gets the job done faster. XD Pretty sure SE just takes artistic liberties when it comes to their large-ass weapons and how much they would actually weigh in real life. (It's, uh, magic! It's fantasy, don't question it!)
When you say Yuna's staff was the first FF weapon you guys made out of metal, do you mean for cosplay purposes? I saw that you do cosplay (which look stunning, I might add!).

True. Yuna could just do her summoner-dance in front of a monster whacking it in the face constantly. That thing would be very much dead XDDD
And yeah, those were for cosplay pruposes. Or in case a burglar stops by your house. Anywhichway XDDDDD One of my friends cosplayed Yuna, so we got to work on her staff, and man, she was a bit bummed out she had to train a bit to lift that thing accordingly since she wanted to participate in the Cosplay-competition. She managed tho, and delivered a stunning performance!
Thank you so much! Cosplay is so much fun! <3<3<3<3
Do you cosplay, too?

Honestly, if a thief broke in to any cosplayer's house and saw the torture chamber of props some of them most likely have and not get the fuck out of there, someone lacks the necessary self-preservation instincts. XD
So Yuna and Luna must go to the same gym and take classes on staff-lifting, pfft. I'm glad to hear your friend made it through the competition, hopefully without any dead casualties?
You're welcome! It really is! I've cosplayed a few times, but I'm not of the group that make their own cosplays. o_o Those people are gods and have my deepest respects, which includes some of my friends. I did do Noctis for our local convention last month, though, and coincidentally one of my friends did Prompto that weekend as well. We're waiting on our other friend to get Ardyn together so we can do a photoshoot~
