Yes, they hate each other...especially Joe and Billy!
They met in the old episodes of Lucky Luke and also in the show from 2001 (The new adventures)....and Joe also mentioned their meeting in a conversation from the Dalton episodes --> And who robbed the bank? Billy the Kid! I looked heavily in his eyes and said " One of the good of the bad is enough for this bank!"
