(1294 x 2394).Anyway, Murrue Ramius from the anime Gundam SEED, as she appears in the "Find the Way" ending. I think she's thinking about her KIA Mobile Armour pilot.
My first vector. There is a first time for everything.
Did it in Pain Shop Pro 8 [sic] with mouse. [link] . Religiously followed MapleRose's PSP8 vectoring guide. Dedicate to her. She's been very helpful, and she's the only person who gives me critique on my art submissions, so thanks. "Arigatou". Hope you like.

exotika-brushes- I turned his/her "starry night" brush 45° and used it for tears. >_< One day I'll learn how to vector sparkly tears.

Yup, mouse is easier than keyboard to do vectoring because you can control the directions better.

aww, poor Murrue-chan... did you notice that she's the only sad person in that ending sequence (even Natarle's smiling), and that she also looks sad in the previous two endings? ... methinks the artist is being mean to her (and by not putting either Mwu or Rau in any of the endings! >.< )
anyway, nice vector! wow, I can't believe you've attempted a full-body vector, and with outlines on your first try! (I started out with headshots, outlineless and moved my way up

yay for random backgrounds! Actually the spacy thing is a good idea, though maybe filter it a bit because it looks a bit grainy. (Duplicate background layer, go to Adjust: Add/Remove Noise: Median filter, and set the radius to around 7; then use 'soft light' as the layer blend mode)

Murrue-chan? XD Yes, I did notice. I also noticed straight away that they weren't present since I decided I liked them very early on. Murrue was crying over a grave and I feared that it was Mwu's, or maybe even Rau's, but it wasn't.
Thanks. It was fairly easy, thanks to the tutorial, but just time consuming because there's a lot of guessing involved. This particular picture, I noticed, has all of her left collar hidden under her hair (fair enough, I guess), and I couldn't decide where to put her eyelid line on her left eye, so I omitted it! Looks a bit strange. I'm not sure if I'll be doing another vector. It requires so much patience.
I do like PSP8 (I refuse to use any other program), but my installation gives me errors once in a while. I just have to save often.
Okay, I did exactly what you suggested with the background. Any better? Amazing that you taught yourself all of this, you Paint Shop Pro Pro. ^_^

why would she cry over Rau's grave... O_o .. I think it could be her former lover's, or just the general representation of the people lost in the war or something.
you know what, I didn't even notice about her eyelid until you mention it.. I think it looks fine.
yup, the background looks much better now. I actually learned that trick on a tutorial (and just adapted it to PSP).

Well, it was when I first started watching the series! I didn't know what was going to happen. I didn't rule out the possibility of Rau and Murrue getting together, but that idea is now completely ridiculous! ... I think the grave is her former lover's. I admire Murrue. She's a really strong character.
