Description
Tali and Samara from our group cosplay at GenCon2011 this past year. Full crew included Tali, Samara, Commander Shepard, Joker, Miranda and the Illusive Man. Headpiece made by myself and ~WildSpiritWolf , makeup/prosthetic application done by me. Many thanks as well to our friend Cole for the armor pieces and to our friend ~fingerjam who helped with the painting/detailing of Samara's outfit. We are working towards hopefully perfecting our sculpt and casting method and possibly opening up commissions on Asari headpieces in the future. It was a blast making these and such an awesome experience to see it all pay off in the end.If you are responsible for any of these lovely pictures, please let me know so that I can credit you or remove them if you so desire.

A great resource is Tatterhood's Blue Girl comic (google!). It's a tutorial detailing the steps she took in creating a Liara headpiece. Although we didn't follow hers exactly, it's what alot of people find instructional in creating their own latex piece as she did a lovely job explaining her process.

I can't stop looking at Samara- she looks just like her! The make up is fantastic, and the adding shading with darker blue make up makes the costume even more stunning.

Awwwww thankyou so much! I had a huge amount of fun doing it: even though most of it was done in a hotel lobby after we had to check out of our room! (Next time we'll get one that lasts through to Sunday, haha). I loved looking through all of your costumes, you are so talented as well and you have a great presence in all of your photos!

We are sculpting a Thane this year to be premiered at either ACen 2012 or GenCon 2012 and beginning planning on a Legion for later as it is understandably more complex.

A Krogran is something we're definitely looking forward to in the future, though anything like the animatronic Grunt CrabCat Industries did is a bit beyond us at the moment.
