I'm not dead!

I feel like I should explain myself. The past year I've been in my final year of middle/high school, so I've been really busy. I could barely find time to draw and whenever I did, I wasn't satisfied with what I put out. My skills weren't improving but my critical eye was, and that ended up leading me to one of the biggest art blocks I've ever had. So I decided to stay off the internet for a while and just focus on making art for myself, and try to find back the joy in it. I think I've now reached a point where I'm starting to regain some of my confidence. So here I am!

This is just a quick lighting study I did while I was away -- but I've got a few illustrations coming pretty soon!
