Absolutely stunning shot! Iceland is the best place to take pictures of nature, isn't it? I wish I could go there. Great job on this one! Β

Really nice capture. The water must have been really swift, you achieved a lot of smoke on the water at 1/5 of a second exposure. Great light and focus too.

Thanks, and yeah the water was going really fast.

Great angle of view, it looks like it might have been quite hard to get into a position to make this composition possible. nice work!

thanks, it was very hard to get there and even harder to find a place to set my tripod. To take this photo my tripod was balanced on 3 different rocks and me on another two.

I bet, that is what makes it so interesting in the end though. I usually say to myself if it was easy to see then it was not worth seeing most of the time. Many exceptions for sight seeing, but true photography is an art of explorations of mind, soul and body. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.

What a beautiful and special place you've been able to capture. The angle is wonderful and I love how you set it up to open up to the light. I hope your feet have warmed up again.

The canyon looks great with the way it is framing the rushing water. Wonderful capture of the breathtaking scenery.

This is beautiful! I am not used to seeing so much green in steep canyons. It makes it look like a fantasy-scape.

MirMidPhotos In reply to flowersdaughter [2012-07-08 20:08:34 +0000 UTC]

Thanks. It was weird seeing all the green on all the rocks, whether in a steep canyon or on the side of a cliff.
