Love this, it's beautiful! It's much prettier than our ugly trains here in DC. Also reminds me of some of my favorite anime series like "Serial Experiments: Lain" and "NieA_7", which prominently feature trains and power lines. I have definitely enjoyed the diversity of themes and the beautiful use of color and the huge amount of art you have produced in such a short time (or uploaded, at least, if you produced it before making your account here). Keep up the great work.

Captured the style of a particular kind of anime VERY well. AMAZING job conveying a sense of motion in a still picture. The color palette (and time of day) evokes a certain sense of homesickness and...perhaps forlorn nostalgia?
On a side note, the blurred motion lines with the lens flare to me suggests a camera with a low shutter speed...say, from someone watching the two of them very intently from a well placed tripod.

Absolutely beautiful image, but my OCD brain latches on to some things. The fading on the train give it the illusion of moving left to right, and yet Twilight's mane and hair is flowing right to left.

That's not just a minor detail you noticed, being the train the main focus of the picture, so don't bash you OCD brain too much!

I don't know why but just looking at it is a kinda feeling that is hard to describe...
Trains... Traveling, is a metaphor for life... I think this is the most clever I can come up with... And the day phase and the animeish style is also very-very nice.

I think Adachi must have lived near a railroad crossing in Tokyo in his early days because nearly EVERY story of his features the main characters living near them, hearing trains signaling all the time, not to mention THAT very typical Japanese railroad crossing lights.
And yes, your drawing captured it entirely, I love it.

Love this piece! There is just something about it. Almost like, she's worried about something, or deep in thought. While in the first one where we see her smile, something about this is almost makes me think that... maybe she's lost... Lost in thought, lost her way, trying to find her friends that got transported here... Why do I get an image of The Muppets in the big city, when they go their separate ways or try to find each other (been so long since I saw that movie).

You know, hearing that song I can see an animation of Twilight wondering the city a little aimlessly, both her smile of exploring and sitting in brooding. If only I could animate anime.
