Description
She hears its faint humming. The light that gently pulsated through its columns and into the atmosphere, the metaphysical bell that rings for eternity. The steady, certain, rhythmic pulsing that echoes and stretches to the horizon, filling the vast emptiness that never was.
And in the space between, stood the Watchtower. Eris knew this place. She had come again for answers.

She travels across to the Borealis.

The colours froze and crystalized with every step, cracking itself just as quickly as if holding a breath. The atmosphere was bowing to her. The ice was offering her promise. But this place was her own design, and she would know better to keep moving forward. She fixes her eyes at top of the tower. Still, she felt so foreign.

It had been centuries since the last journey - when she was younger and far more naive and was a smaller, more honest soul. This visit almost meant desecration, and she knew it. But she made this place, though she could no longer remember the true reason why.

She reaches the base of the tower and the voices die on the threshold.
Nothing, but a hissing silence-

The doors unhinge themselves with a loud, massive click. They open for her and their low rumbling fills air, almost to say "welcome home". Eris stands unmoving.

She invites herself in.
