Description
I was trying to create a piece about the Little Mermaid illustrating Ariel as a mature woman. Then later on through the process it felt kind of off so I decided to make it different. Made her look somewhat like an attractive sea witch looking at the viewer, enticing them to come take a closer look.

This was painted completely in the trial version of Paint Tool SAI and tweaked in Photoshop.

This is also my entry for Exotique 6 from Ballistic Publishing.
