Description In one way or another, i am sure there are people out there who emphasize with this.

Just imagine furry smiledog desu with emo hair,   Jeff the ugly monster drawn in 'shitty goth/kawaii anime' styles, pokemon with stupid overused Cheshire cat smiles, and so much more!
Creepypastas are no longer creepy because of these things.

Creepypasta used to mean creepy short stories that intend to make its audience feel uncomfortable. Now the term includes all of this teen angst hormonal edgy goth bullshit.

Stick to /x/. Deviantart is cancer.

you can't ruin what was already cancer. Look at Jeff the Killer.

"Now the term includes all of this teen angst hormonal edgy goth bullshit."

Hm... Jeff had a "weird feeling", which made him into a killer, even though he was a normal 13 year old boy.

sounds a lot like a story about teen-angst to me. also considering how the story's "scary" elements mainly consisted of gore and cheesy attempts of trying to portray "insanity".

most "classic" creepypasta actually sucked in the first place, so there wasn't much good stuff to ruin, to begin with.

Well said. For some reason, I was one of them, but then I realized that I only like one character that wasn't ruined that much by fantards and left. I mean, I like reading good pastas, but the way most fans on this site write them is a disgrace to the genre. Creepypasta can't be some misunderstood animu teenager in fancy outfit with cliche backstory because then it won't be creepy, and that's the main point of Creepypastas.

That is exactly how I feel... turning creepypasta concepts into fan fodder like that really ruins the eerie, mysterious and most importantly CREEPY factor.

And the saddest part is that around 95% of people in this community don't even know what Creepypasta is about.

Sadness ;_; I just wanted to be creepy and draw creepy and unsettling things, but everyone just has to make it all "kawaii sparkle derp" D8

While I do agree with you, these are fandoms. "Kawaii concepts" are present in almost EVERY fandom. I mean look at Shadow the Hedgehog.
The majority of fans are 12-16 so…..kawaii concepts are really not all that surprising?????
And I know you're tired of hearing this, but not all creepypasta fans think the same. lol

Best advice I've seen in a while, I can't stand these Slender and Jeff fangirls either.

There was a news story on the front page of CNN a few days back where two girls stabbed one of their friends like 19 times "to prove their loyalty to Slenderman".

I bet they were mad because their victim didn't share the opinion that "slenderman is kawaii and hot". So they killed her for being so offensive.

From what I understand in the article, stabber #1 convinced stabber #2 to do it with her so they could prove their loyalty to him and prove that he was real. Want me to find it to show you?
