Akuru Ishu / 明くる 意趣 "The following grudge"FINALLY settled on a design and some colours for Akuru ;; (watch me change them again in the next week. I think they go horribly with what she's made for.)

Based the colours off of an Amherst Pheasant ([link] ) only to realize its real colours are [link] you have no idea how crap I felt after finding that out. :B

awwh I like the colours wrong or not. they're really delicate looking (especially the blue of her nails). it's neat how you can see the nails of her toe, but you've decided not to draw the lines separating them.
the first thing that caught my eyes was the bloody great bow. I think it's the texture that makes it stand out, and the use of it amongst mainly flat colour looks loverlllyyy. pleasing to the eye
I think maybe her hands are too big (it's hard to tell with those huge bell sleeves) but I kind of like the exaggeration of her long legs. reminds me of the sort of stuff they did with old japanese prints. I dunno the correct term (I want to say shunga but shunga's basically the prettiest oldschool porn ever)
and I dig how her hair looks like the bird. that is pretty cool.
you and your costume designs, man. they make me envious every time
