I was messing with the colours in photoshop and it turn out like this. I still can't make a good lineart using tablet yet...@_@the characters, Soul and Maka are from the manga/anime Soul Eater

huh? xD My lineart doesn't look that neat *still trying to make it look better* (it'd be hard with a dead computer UvU' )
But really, the only thing to make it look better is to separate it from the foreground (okay, you surely already do that xD) and have a pic that's at least 2000 pixels height.
