I drew this back in July but it got some attention on tumblr in the last couple of days so I figured I might as well put it here too
Atlantis is one of my favourite Disney films and the only way it could have been improved would have been to have a nerdy female lead who gets the hot prince, so, this.

It's always cute when a nerdy guy gets a hot girl. But I always found it more beautiful and less cliche when a nerdy girl gets a smoking dude XD This is why I prefer genderbent. :3

I love this! This is one of the best genderbent Atlantis fanarts I've seen (I like that fem!Milo has a short bobbedΒ hairstyle that a youngΒ woman of the period might have).

I am sooooo sad that Atlantis is under appreciated. Β In my opinion, it is the movie that turned me on the path to becoming the proud nerd and avid scholar I am today. Β And even today, I would jump at the opportunity to explore a lost city and read ancient texts.

I don't think so because height doesn't really matter in my opionion but her height does sort of fall in logic seeing as Milo has a thin frame. She could be taller but it's just an opionion.

Being able to coo and drool at either version of either character, this is to me like having a caramel ice cream w. chocolate sauce and being handed a chocolate ice cream w. caramel sauce. In other words this has made me a very full and very happy girl on a sugar high.Β Β

Ah I love it, they look amazing, especially Kida...wow if he were one of the native populace a nerdy Mila ran into, the movie sure would have taken on a different bend! I really enjoy the way his hair slopes and his facial markings, they reflect very nicely against his skin tone. Beautiful work!
