Finally finished this, after starting it back in January. I had to leave it for weeks, Uni has been busy~ -_-Looks much more realistic in person, Im sure everyone is sick to death of scanner complaints. But there we go~
Had help sorting out it's fail by ~LaurenW24 <3

This is amazing, the shading is gorgeous, his hair is stunning, and his eyes are..... real. They look so realistic, it's astounding, and my mind has officially been blown.

I get what you mean about giving the impression of things, I know a lot of people do that. But it isnt my style, I prefer to just try and do it as close to real as possible, even though I agree that this hair looks shit. I gave up and rushed the hair, I must admit. 
I like your pics, the animals are the best, I think you just need to have more contrast, if you get what I mean. Have the dark areas really black, and light really white. Also you seem to smudge quite a lot. I know you probably do this intentionally, I used to when I started drawing too, because it looks more 3D. It would be really good if you didnt though, shading things carefully without smudging really helped me get better at drawing realistically..though I have a long way to go.

I would certainly consider it, however it is something that would have to wait a while.
I am just starting my Uni exams and already have a list of drawings that Im doing or need to do before the summer.
Id give it a go some time in July if you still wanted
