I love the sense of freedom and movement this shot has. I also like the way the lines of the near-silhouette draw the eye in to the birds head, almost no matter where your eyes enter the frame. The subtle light playing on the right wing and underbelly adds a nice touch of contrast with the otherwise mostly featureless shadows.
