I'm curious about the new technique you are using - what do you do differently? I think it looks nice with the lines blending together with the colors (hurr, I'm really tired and can't word myself properly XD) but I also like the way you do lines normally

You're very welcome and than you so much, Moon! The nephew is doing really well, even signing up for ball! His healing and will power are astounding, thank you so much for helping.
As far as what I did differently, I actually used a watercolor brush on this and used soooo many different colors to blend it...and make it look like two. Haha! So much effort, I'm not sure that the time spent is worth the outcome. And I'm not way comfortable with losing my lines, either. I've always liked the look somewhere between comic book and coloring book. This is where I'll be staying, I just wanted to experiment a little.
