Say hello to the newest Phoefox deities on the block! These deities are very loosely inspired by the Japanese Seven Lucky Gods: Ebisu, Daikokuten, Bishamonten, Benzaiten, Jurojin, Hotei and Fukurokuju. I had a lot of fun creating these!

Themes:
1. "Fisherman's Golden Delight" Based off of Ebisu, patron of fishermen, and associated with wealth, coins, business, plentiful crops and food.
2. "Demon Hunter of the Great Blackness" Based off of Daikokuten, associated with commerce, prosperity, cooks, farmers, bankers, crops, and is noted as being a demon hunter who hung a sacred talisman in a tree and caught a demon! Also called "She of Great Blackness" (Daikokunyo).
3. "Valiant Fighter of Crimson Skies" Based off of Bishamonten, the god of fortune in war and battles, authority and dignity. A protector and patron of fighters, fights evil spiritswith his spear, often holding a pagoda in his hand.
4. "Beauty of the Celestial Biwa" Based off of Benzaiten, associated with fortune, talent, beauty, music, and often seen with a biwa, a Japanese lute-like instrument. She's the patron of artists, writers, dancers, geisha, and others.
5. "Wind of the Peach Tree" Based off of Jurojin, the incarnation of the southern pole star, is god of the elderly and is associated with insanely long life. He's often depicted riding a deer, with a crane and tortoise, and associated with peach trees-- all symbols of long life. He is a cheerful entity.
6. "Priestess of Untold Fortune" Based off of Hotei, the patron of diviners (priests) and barmen alike, and the god of popularity, fortune, children. I tried to pay homage to Japanese priestesses through this design, who often wear red and white. He often carries a bag loaded with fortunes.
7. "Crow's Resurrection" Based off of Fukurokuju, a hermit god often associated with wisdom, luck, longevity, wealth, and happiness. This god has the ability to resurrect the dead, and is usually accompanied by a turtle, crow, or deer, which all symbolize long life. He also enjoys playing chess!

How to Claim!

CLAIMING IS DIFFERENT THAN AUCTIONS. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFO SO YOU MAY PROPERLY CLAIM:

1. UP TO TWO CLAIMS PER PERSON PER SET. No exceptions!

2. You CANNOT make a claim for someone else. You *can* claim a design that you intend to gift to someone else, but you cannot claim a spot for someone else to pay for. A design you claim that you intend to gift counts towards your one claim per set.

3. Claims are first come, first serve! If a design has already been claimed, you can add a reply saying you're interested in a design if the claimer backs out!

PLEASE NOTE!!! These "Backup claims" DO count towards your claim count.

4. Claims are made by replying to the associated comment below. To claim, just comment "I want this one!" or something along these lines, to let me know your interest! Again, first come, first served. I will respond to you to let you know where to send payment. You have 48 hours to pay from when I've replied to your comment. Please do NOT send payment until I've replied to your comment and given you the go-ahead. You may request for an invoice to be sent, or I can send you my email to send payment. c: If you choose the latter, I ask that when you send the payment, you include a short note letting me know your username so I don't confuse your payment with others' payments.

5. These designs are US$40 each via PayPal.

Successful Claimer will receive ONE UNWATERMARKED PNG file per claimed design:

1 PNG with jewelry, weapons, shadow/glowing effects/etc + no background (transparent background). Winner can also utilize the above image.

Please note that these designs DO NOT come with jewelry-less/glow-less versions.

Size of files vary. For exact sizing please PM. Most fall around 18XX by 8XX pixels.

IF YOU WIN THE CLAIM:

I will contact you via comment in regards to winning the claim. You will be able to send payment via PayPal. You will have up to 48 hours to pay after the claim; if you fail to pay within the 48 hours, the next person to claim the design will have a chance to pay and obtain the design. What you see is what you will receive. You are able to utilize this design for anything you please, from roleplay to other artwork and beyond-- with the exception of breeding (however, exceptions can be made to the breeding rule-- please note me if interested)! You may alter it (but must make sure it is unique enough from all other designs—major changes must be confirmed by me; please check with me for clarifications), you may re-upload it (but must keep my watermark/signature and list me as the original creator in the description of the uploaded piece). You are free to change name, description, attributes etc. If you have any other questions concerning your rights to the design if you win it, I’ll be more than happy to answer them, so just ask!

The art, designs and species were created by myself, MischievousRaven, with the Paint Tool SAI program. I use a Gaomon PD1560 drawing tablet for my current works. Stealing in all forms and fashions is strictly prohibited; thank you!
