Avril Lavigne - Alice (Underground)

YET ANOTHER CLICHE TITLE >w>
I really don't know whatelse to call it, because that is what is happening.
My original designs of Alice, the Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, Dweedledee and Dweedledum (the two headed dragon)

I've always thought/known from games that Wonderland changes depending on the person, including what the characters look like and how they act.

WARNING IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO READ WHY/HOW I GOT MADE THE CHARACTERS LOOK THE WAY THEY DO JUST SKIP THIS PART

So... here are my versions of most of the main characters in Alice in Wonderland.

Alice herself is not blonde, I never really liked her looking blonde (sorry to Disney/Tim burton/any blondes out there D: ) Shes lightly based off American Mcgee's Alice, with the darker hair and stripped socks.
Shes also 15 here, right in the middle of Disney's and Tim Burton's Alices.
I made her a bit of a Gothic Lolita dress, because I really like Gothic Lolita, I wanna buy an outfit of that one day

My Alice is a lot more accepting of the strange things that go on in Wonderland, knowing that this place is strange, and she has the freedom to be strange herself.
In "real life", she is actually a bit strange, keeping to herself ad daydreaming constantly.
She also loves tea.
Quite a lot.
And stripped socks, she loves them too.

The Chesire Cat (the boy upside down, smiling) changed a bit. A) hes not a cat. Well, hes part cat, if you look you'll see he has cat ears, tail and feet.
The shirt he wears is way too big for him, so it's really baggy and loose on him, and you never see his hands.
Also, do you see that mask next to him?
He almost always wears that mask.
This is probably the only drawing I will do where he is not wearing it.
He also has a bell on his tail.

Chesire as a cat is very michevious and sneaky, dissapearing and re-appearing anywhere and everywhere. Despite this, he will do anything for Alice, as she is one of the few people who actually pay attention to hisriddles and tricks.

The Mad Hatter is a bit strange, I guess.

When I first drew our loverly friend here, he was ment to be a dude, but I drew him really thin and kinda petite, so he looked girly.
I think hes male in this, since his face and hair/no boobs suggests this, I dunno anymore XD
The smoke billowing from his hat kinda suggests he is mad, because his brain is on fire from thinking too much XD

Hatter as a character is very quiet and meek, a kind of the silent crazy person.
He knows about Alice from the other Wonderlands, and really wants to meet this Wonderland's Alice. He doesn't know it yet, but he loves her, and will even fight for her (him being quiet and meek shows what he will do for her)
He is also bandaged in a lot of places, because his broken (mad) mind has begun to affect his body, so he keeps it all together with bandages.
His right eye is also covered because that is where his evil crazy side stays, and he hates anyone seeing it.
He would only ever bring it out if Wonderland came crashing down around him.

The Rabbit (follow Alice's hair and hes ever so slightly behind that) ... well, at first i didn't like the idea of him being a human, or wearing a vest, so first I drew him as a normal white rabbit, then I drew the hands of a clock around his eyes and numbers all over him, and he has a giant pocketwatch on his back (like in the picture, the big circle behind him is the watch). He was also on all fours, like a normal rabbit.
Then I thought that didn't suit his character, so I made him stand up on his hind legs and gave him a simple vest.

the Rabbit himself is very polite, and very... I dunno, posh? I know he has an English accent He hates chaos and mess and loves keeping time right in Wonderland, which is his job. He also silently looks after the Mad Hatter, who expects Rabbit to lead the Wonderland's Alice to them, which he eventually does.
He also normally ties his long ears together like a ponytail, and it doesn't affect his hearing at all XD

Finally, there is Dweedledee and Dweedledum (the two headed dragon in the distance to the top right)
I didn't make them as stupid as they are in most other Alice in Wonderlands, but they are very quirky and tell Alice pointless infomation at random times.
I wanted to make them a two headed dragon because I love dragons and I love the idea that they fight over where their body goes (since one controls one half of the body and the other the other half XD)
So.... really... they are smart, because they need to work in perfect sync to move.
Oh, their wings are not really ment for flying (although they have tried it), they are more for cooling themselves.

Dweedledee and Dweedledum are polar opposites; having different ideas, opinions and personalities from each other.
Dee is the green one, and is quiet and thoughtful, while Dum is thered one, and is loud and outgoing.
Both are very kind and both agree on one thing; they love to entertain the children of Wonderland (the flowers).
This is a bit strange for their kind, since they stem from the Jabberwocky, who is cruel and hates nearly everything. They can work together in perfect sync when they really need to, but they bicker a lot like siblings.
Look; even the armour under their necks and belly are fighting over what colour should be there!

I might even write a story to do with this, because I have it's story laid out in my mind, all I need to do is put it down on paper *goes off to write the start of my story*
