Of course, there are many times when he is exactly the same.
It's almost like neither of them know how to talk to one another.

Though, he's also the only person who could seriously tell her what to do and when to be quiet.

I was totally listening to Gackt and the idea for this sorta popped into my head.

Silly Gackt forcing me to draw something so...bittersweet.

I wanted to try something new with this. No clean line arts, and it's not colored...just monochrome. It seemed to suit the situation best. ^.^

Lenniel: Nartina's love, even if she refuses to admit it at times. He drives her absolutely crazy in more ways than one. Possibly one of the most dense people you could possibly meet when it comes to feelings for others, and at the same time, the most loving demon one could know. He's the prince of Acheron, the demon realm-most people know it as Hell. A Lillin, his kind is often mistaken for Incubi, and it is this reason that he was sold into slavery and forced to do unspeakable acts with women-and men. He and Nartina met long before his own family was killed, when they were children, during one of his father's many visits to the Fae who lived in the Human realm.

Lennie lived most of his adolescent life in a Shinto shrine in Japan, and was revered as a sacred being because of his silver hair. It was there that he met Nartina a second time just before the high priest of the shrine sold him into slavery.

For a couple of centuries, he served other people until Nartina-who had been looking for him to thank him-killed his master. He ran off right afterward and essentially disappeared for a while until he and Nartina met up once more.

Nartina: Lenniel's love. She pushes him to frustration over and over, yet always seems to make him smile despite her moments of sheer stupidity. She is calculating at the best of times, and impulsive at the worst-usually in situations where thinking things through is a necessity.

Nartina is an elf and a shapeshifter. She can shift into any form she wishes, though she prefers two forms: a white Fox and a small, black Dragon. Her people were mistaken for Demons when she was barely 250 years old, and the humans in the area, fearing the very beings that had protected them for thousands of years, ambushed her village in the dead of night, killing everyone they could find. Nartina only survived because of her shifting abilities. She lost her father, mother, and brothers in the attack. Her cousin, Hamlin, lives in the sister village to her own.

She is blind in her right eye, an old training injury from when she was a child. The scar left over from said injury is possibly the ugliest thing she sees in herself.

Nartina has a split personality. Shavori, Nartina's other half, only appears when Nari is in great danger or severely ill. She is ruthless, and uncaring of other people's feelings. There is only one person who could keep Shavori at bay: a celestial being named Kaemyn
