ok.....my other computer crashed.....so im going on my older brothers.... so when i tried the RAR file it came up with folders and things like shimeji.exe,jar,zip...which one do i press?

Try exe, if it doesn't open then try the jar. If neither work, then sorry.

You might have to rename files.
Under the Shimeji folder there is a conf folder. Open it and change the 11 KB file's name to 行動 it is isn't already. There should be a 43 KB one. Change that to 動作.
Basically:
Go to the conf folder in the Shimeji folder.
Rename file names accordingly:
43 KB (or around) file should be renamed 動作.xml
11 KB (or around) file should be renamed 行動.xml
