I wonder if Keitai saw the bruise on The Slave's neck & thought he'd do the same in a form of ironic justice? More than likely it's just that he doesn't like getting blood everywhere. He doesn't like the mess.

The way you write is clear and easy to read. I like the letters you write on the pages you show
Something I notice is the way you draw eyes. Different characters have different looking eyes, but it is more than that. I love the expressiveness you gave this page by the eyes you drew! Even when eyes are closed they look expressive.
Personally, gentle curves and waves are more interesting to see than straight hairstyles. I think you do great with the hairstyles you draw ^^
Ming-na is the character I am most familiar with because I've seen the most drawings so far with her, but I think her personality and design are great to see! I am glad you draw her.

I try with the eyes-- I've got Asians who have 2 different eye shapes, a Native American who has the same high cheekbones but sliiiiightly different shape, a few Gaelic boys & girls, an Englishman... I'm trying to avoid Same Face Syndrome. Hopefully in a year or so I'll succeed!
Curves & waves are so much fun! I just like gentle things.
