Uh. I finally saw the Cirque du Freak film (not yet released in Spain, BTW) and it hurts my feelings so deeply >_< I mean WHAT is that shit. People, if you've seen the film and didn't read the books, PLEASE do it. Because they are wonderful. One of my favourite series.I will write a journal about this =w=
By now, I'm thinking of doing a serie of Darren Shan stamps, if the authors give me permission to use their works ^^
First we have the OBLIGATED Larten Crepsley stamp, because he's the best fuckin' vampire after Dracula. Yes, HE IS. Go and read the books, srsly. Don't believe he's like John C. Reilly, because he isn't. Ugh.

If anything, I thought the best person to play Mr. Crepsley would be John. C McGinley - Irish, red haired - I thought he'd be te first choice to play Mr Crepsley...why the fuck did they get John C Reilly? He's almost the opposite of Larten!

I hate everything about the movie, really =__= but having watched that shit makes me want to draw fanart (RIGHT fanart xD), so...
And not to mention that with the film here in Spain FINALLY the books are going to be published (they only published the first in 2001 :____D Shansters in Spain are badly treated >.< I thank the Internet! ).

Yeah - he's got the attitude and the looks, I reckon he'd be an awesome Larten! 
I SO know how you feel - they made the entire movie absolutely sh*t on the books. The fact they said they were going to make the movie take place in America instead of England told me that it was gonna be crap way before the finished movie hit cinemas. -__-
No respect for the books at all!
I hope you get all the books and enjoy them!
And also, the Manga re-interpretation is excellent too - it's almost exactly the same as the book, you'll really love it!

Well, because of I'm a non-English speaker I can't say so xD and that's why my English is absolutely awful xD.
I enjoyed the books time ago but now I finally can have them on my shelves! Though I think the translation is bad, so maybe I'll get the English version. Sigh.
I read some chapters of the manga online and I love it! ^0^ I'll probably buy the comics because I think is a great interpretation, too ^^

Una pregunta, ¿qué programa utilizas tú para hacer stamps?
Yo he intentado hacer alguno con el Photoscape (me gustaría hacer unos sellos de las banderas de Madrid, Aragón y Extremadura, que he visto que no hay ninguno) pero no me ha gustado el resultado... el borde del sello queda demasiado grueso y no sé cómo modificarlo, torpón que es uno... T_T

Yo es que el Photoshop es como una extensión de mi brazo... xD Aunque bueno, ahora compite con el SAI
