Slyva woke up and immediately went to look at the egg. The egg quickly fell apart as a little blue wyngling emerged, crying and holding their claws out. Lujah rubbed the newborn's head, calming the little one. "H-hey there. I'm your Mama Lujah, and the wyngro behind me is your Mom Slyva."
Sly couldn't see the baby very well, but she could tell that it had fin ears and her colors. "Hi, little baby. Dear, what sex are they?" Lujah lifted the small light blue wygnling out of the fabric pouch and eggshell, and looked for it's... er... 'parts',
she then cradled the newborn "Slyva, it's a girl!" A girl...
"Her name will be Vody."
