This image stands out to me as being wonderfully macabre. The distortions in the face, especially around the mouth, go against what is to be expected of human anatomy. The dark eyes, save for small highlights, does the same. Since most the image is black, that adds a creepy factor to it. People tend to be afraid of what they can't see, or can't see clearly. Lovely work.
