In the official shows? Not really. His traps were always needlessly complicated though so although they didn't mention it he obviously liked them way more than an average person.
In my universe he really wants to prove that monsters are real, he would be happy with a photo but in his eyes nothing could be better than catching a real one. Hes also not into killing things (unlike his Dad, who loves to hunt) so that's where the interest in traps comes in, with traps you can catch something and not hurt it. When he gets proof he intends to send it into the national exaggerator, collect a bunch of awards and prove to everyone that he was right all along about monsters existing.

Yeah I've mixed in a lot of bits and pieces from all the other universes, mystery inc included. But the parents in that one didnt sit well with me at all so I gave them all a pretty big overhaul (apart from Velmas mum, I kept her, shes cool.)

Seeing as this is based on A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, which is an alternate universe to Mystery Inc, I agree.Β At least Skip is making sure the kids are going to be safe.

If that's not a reference to A Pup Named Scooby-Doo then I don't know what is!

That is an awesome idea, probably not a wise oneβ but awesome nonetheless, but they may need more than helmets.

I doubt it. They'd better hope they don't get pulled over by Shaggys policeman Dad or his coworkers. The gang might be too young to be formally charged with anything but they can totally still get grounded.

Knowing Shaggy and Scooby they would refuse to get on that thing solely on the principle of cowardice. The Brand name on the motorized parts was scary enough. Using products made by acme never ends well, just watch any wile e coyote cartoon.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it.
I think the idea of being unleashed on the neighborhood is a much funner way of looking at things as opposed to being kicked outside to go play.
