totally agree. Everyone says that "God chose America to be the world power" but I dont believe that at all. Along with all of this stuff that you've pointed out, I dont think God would give his blessing to a nation with "Announcing the birth of the new world order" on its currency. I admire your mind *_*

I think even if God did exist (I personally don't think he does, but that's an explanation for another time), he probably wouldn't think the USA deserves his blessing. I sure don't, and I've lived here all my life. Don't get me wrong, I love my country just as much as the next guy; but after everything that the US has done in the last, oh...8 years or so, I don't think we deserve the blessing of someone so powerful.

I have to agree with this. It's sad but very true. I know this probably isn't the place to put it, but I think that most of the Americans (not all of them, I know a lot that don't) think like this. These are ( I think it's safe to say) lower educated people, or at least people that don't think for themselves, but let the tv and politicians do the thinking. Let's hope this changes in November...

Looks like you posted this some time ago, and received a lot of attention! I found it while doing a search on the word, "bless." I don't think any of your commenters offered this thought: perhaps the expression is backwards. Maybe, instead of "God bless America," we should be urging America to bless God.

I think it's horrible to judge a whole country the way you are doing...you say it's not meant against the citizens of America though as a citezen I don't know how to take it any other way. No my country is not perfect, but at the same time neither is any country! All politicians are corrupt no matter what country they come from. By far I believe that our country is always bailing other countries out when they need help yet everyone always makes us out as the bad guys.

Where is your backing and proof for each of these heinous words? How are we racist when we allow people from every race and religion to live at peace in our country??? How many countries can you walk around and openly preach whatever you want or practice whatever religion you want? Can you do that in the UAE? In the US, people are free to speak openly damning about our government and president with no fear of being punished...because we have freedom of speech! We go into other countries and fight wars, but our soilders also give out millions of dollars worth of food supplies and medical aide! Our citizens give from their own pocket to help the less fortunate in many other countries all over the world!

What countries do you know of that offer donations to the homeless or poverty stricken people of America? When New Orleans was hit by the hurricane and many lost their lives, how many other countries reached out and aided the USA?!

Don't post your damn political views if they are so closed minded!
