This is for the Laxus X Lucy-week from
Theme today is 'Storm' and I picked a story I've read on the internet about the Japanese god of thunder and lightning, Raijin. Allegedly he once say a young and beautiful farmers daughter and decided that he wanted her and after he observed voluptuously her from a cloud he... Yeah, actually don't know how the story ends, but I likes the image of him looking down from his cloud. Also it was a great fun, drawing Laxus as the god of thunder. I really like unnatural skin-colours. Also I like the idea of the drum-ring on the back Raijin has.
So, here you go. The oncoming storm of Laxus the god of thunder and lightning for the poor farmers daughter Lucy.
Please don't look too closely. I drew that in a hurry, because I'm quite busy lately but wanted to join the LuLa-week anyway.
Sorry, that Lucy doesn't look like herself, but this perspective is a bitch!

I based the design of the historic illustration of the jap. thunder god and that thing had also nice horns. But to be completely honest, I really like the evil and slightly threatening flare they give him.

According to the Japanese mythology has its own Perseus-like hero named Susanoo the god of thunder . In the myth of Susanoo and Yamato no Orochi, Susanoo, Susanoo happens upon an old couple and their beautiful daughter. They're all crying because the girl, Kushinada, is about to be eaten by a giant serpent named Yamato no Orochi. The hero says that he'll fight the serpent if he can marry the beautiful Kushinada. The girl's parents agree, Susanoo kills the monster and saves the girl.
