Deities comic 37Death isn't happy. God threw him out for doing his job. Did God honestly think they could talk and it would all better?!
Apparently.
The tensions amongst the deities are slowly rising. And poor Gabe is stuck in the middle of it. (Note: Death can reap angels as well. Think about that for a moment.)
Also, if you've been reading Deities from the beginning of the comic, you know the format changes a lot. The beginning comics were drawn in MS Paint since that was the only program I had at the time. Now it's done in Photoshop Elements. I experiment with how everything is drawn until I think it looks good. That's why the word bubbles are now drawn with thinner lines. I figured it looks less distracting. But that could change. Who knows?
And let's all admire the bark on the tree. I swear coloring in that damn bark was the bane of my existence this week. I like how it looks, but why do I torture myself?
Oh. Right.

Side note on panel three: Gabe can't sit on trees very well. And I forgot to color the lower part of his wing. Oops.
