This manip is dedicated to my cousin Lauren who was tragically killed in a car accident on September 13, 2008. In her obituary, the final saying she said was the words on this manip. She left behind a 3 years old son Hunter, a 9 month old bay girl Hallie, and a husband for 2 and a half years. Please remember our family in this time of mourn over our loss as the Christmas holiday comes around.

First off i love how the dark and rainy effect unifies the horse and background
something that bothers me though is the quote...possible make it smaller, and fade it or something so itβs not soo...bold and eye-catching?
also with the mane and tail maybe go in after smudging with a 1 pixel brush and smudge out squiggly lines since hair doesnβt always flow straight.(oh i hope that makes sense..)
overall very good, this is by far your best manip yet.

This is very beautiful! Your best yet. I can tell how much heart and hard work you put into this. The emotion is captured perfectly and the horse and background just flow. Also, the mane and tail stand out and go great with the rain in the picture and how the horse is standing.
On the other hand, the text could be darkened a little bit. Or glowing would actually go quite well with this one.

The only thing is.. my screen is very dark so Γ can't see the horse's head very well..
Oh and the way you put the text on it is very important as well..

and it turned out like that.
But now that you mentioned it, it really looks like I went for the

Yeah I've got that problem all the time.. I tried to make my screen lighter and that kind of worked but all my programs acted weird.. Like photoshop and word.. Things were green and stuff

I'm one of those people who can pretty much always come up with something to say about a piece. I would say my only issues would be that the angle of the horse doesn't seem to fit the angle of the background, and the text is rather in-your-face and might benefit from being a lower opacity, maybe with a drop shadow too. And maybe add a bit more flow to the mane and tail instead of just smudging straight lines. It looks really nice though!

I tried to do what your saying with the horse, but it look funky, so I kept her straight. I agree with the text, I may darken it some. Do you think that would work?
