my entry in Kainaa 's character design contest!About the design: I really wanted to give kainaa something new and different so I started by researching the African coast (since she loves beachy themed stuff too) and as i was looking at the tropical big cats, I came across a Civet! I'd NEVER even heard of them before so of course I had to know more! I researched and found out that there are several different types, so i decided for this design i would combine a couple..... Civi here is a cross between a palm coastal civet and a common civet
About the character: Civi lives near the African coast where he enjoys grubbing on fruits and veggies! He once lived more mainland with an African Shaman where he obtained his wooden Idol necklace. Some say the spirit of the shaman still resided in the idol, guiding Civi to new adventures and keeping him from harm.

OO this is so creative! I really love the coloring and markings. And the necklace of course. I never do well drawing small type animals tho xD

yah I know you're not a small critter lover, but this guy was pretty decent size and i was so stinkin inspired by the species! Like for realios
